Our Roots
Pickleball4Others was born out of the vibrant Northeast Branch YMCA pickleball community in Louisville, Kentucky. What began as a simple desire to share the joy of the game has grown into a mission-driven effort to ensure everyone — regardless of ability, background, or circumstance — can experience the physical, social, and emotional benefits of pickleball.
Many of our volunteers are active YMCA members, and we continue to honor those roots by offering additional court hours in a professional pickleball setting through our PBE Open Play program. This partnership spirit remains at the heart of everything we do: using pickleball to create belonging, foster joy, and connect people with opportunities to serve others.
